    Prop for 2017 V20

Purchased a new 2017 V20 and Just finished break in on my 250 opti with 12 in atlas hyd jackplate. I have 10 ft PP blades and the 4 batteries in the bilge. I knew that these boats are not speed demons from my research and I am not unhappy with what I have seen in my short bursts of WOT. From what I have gathered these boats tend to run 71-73 no matter what load etc.
i fish a lot of tidal waters so shallow water hole shot is important to me.
what props have you tested and where did you feel you got the best blend of hole shot and top end?

I’d give Marks propeller shop a call. He’s out of Indiana. He has some great props and can point you in the way you may want for the performance you are looking for.
I currently run a Bravo 1 four blade on my Verado. My new prop is going to be one of Marks in a 24P

Not going to run 71-73 loaded! Completely Empty 72-75. Loaded to the gills 65-67! Hole shot gets worse the more loaded you are and the hotter the weather.

I have a 2017 V20 and previously had a 2016 V20. Both with 12" bobs, holeshot plate, 3 lithium batteries and 1 group 31 AGM. 2016 had 10ft Talons. 2017 has 8ft Power Poles. I tried 26 BravoXS 4 blade, 26 Trophy plus 4 blade, 24p Fury 3 blade, and 24p Fury 4 blade. The 26 Trophy plus was the fastest hole shot around 3 seconds with almost no bow rise and fastest top end around 73 on both boats but caused the boat to ride a little higher out of the water when on plane and did not corner as well as I liked. The 24 Fury 3 blade is what I settled on for both boats. Hole shot with all vent holes open is around 4 seconds with slight bow rise and top end around 71. Mid range speed on the Fury 3 blade is the best on gas 50mph at 4500 RPM burning 14gph.

PS. The best thing that helped me was moving to lithium batteries. Improved hole shot, eliminated backwash when coming off plane, and endless power for TM.
