    Pickwick flooding

A few pics from the water levels. The one with the bridge is Oneil bridge. Up and left of that is McFarland under water. The one with the turbine in it is Sheffield ramp park. The fence on the right is the top of the typical bank that's typically 8-10 feet above water. The one with the basketball goals is Spring Creek Park.

What’s the most water that’s ever been released through Pickwick dam? I did a quick search with no results. I’m thinking there’s probably not many times it’s exceded 400,000cfs like it is now.

We track weather results daily at work and we had 77” for 2018 a coworker in another dept gauges and uploads data to weather underground in his dept and he said we had 99” and we are 1-2 miles apart.

Pickwick is at 415 now and rising. More rain to come plus additional coming this evening. I remember it being this high in late March and April one time before. With a lot of water to come down the river there is no telling what we will end up with!

Over the years a lot of fish have been hauled to yalls end of the lake, maybe a benefit of this current will be the restocking of ms/tn. I curious of how this spring will fish after this long winter of relentless current

It's going to get worse before it gets better.
There is little to no more storage up stream.
We are 60' above pool and rising.
Gates are closed(201 cfs), not much more more they can do, it'll be over the spill way soon.
