    Swim bait fishing

Most of my fishing is done in Northern/central California and I have not really made the move into large swim baits but they seem to produce well in the waters I fish. I am mostly in large lakes and occasionally the delta. When and where should I be looking to throw the larger swim baits? Both glide baits and large soft plastics. I have not done much experimenting with these baits yet but I would like to start throwing them.

I would throw them everywhere your fishing now. If the bass are there why not try it I throw them in Wisconsin and catch some nice fish.

I agree, throw them the same places you’re throwing already. You will find that a good swimbait is a really versatile lure that can be rigged so many ways depending on depth and retrieve style.

I mainly throw big soft plastic swim baits here in FL. Throw them anywhere you can
