Costa rep told me green lens for inshore fishing. Said the blue was better for offshore. For the record I wear blue everyday and fish with green.

Purchase a pair of Maui Jim’s. They are polarized and the most recommended sun glasses by opthamologist.

All the guides down in the keys ive met recommend that brown tan color mirror. They mostly use smiths. I got a pair with tortoise frames and quit wearing 580g at that moment.

Really depends on your eyes. A lot of people like the blue or gray lenses for sunny days but I prefer amber or copper under almost all conditions.

Costa 580 blue mirror for me. Green may be a bit better for sight fishing, but the water here is not very clear anyway so blue for me in bright sunlight.

I was told the same thing at the independently owned sporting goods store where I bought mine. I've been happy with the green, but still wondering if I'm missing out with the blue?

If you go to the Costa website there is a page that explains what color lense is best for a particular situation.
