    Cone angle chart

    I believe it was Winchester that had posted one at some time. I saved it but have since lost or just cannot find it.
    Anyone happen to have it that can post?

    Thanks

    Here you go.
    My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

    GEEK ALERT!

    Formula for width (diameter) of cone, W, as a function of cone angle, A (in degrees), and depth, D (feet, meters, whatever), is :

    W = 2D (sin(A) / (1 + cos(A)) ).

    I know, I know - for the other geeks who can do simple trig. LOL You could use the formula to create your own Excel table, just sayin'.

    20 degree cone size is basically 1/3 the water depth, close enough for me.
