Recruting Camera Boat Drivers for the 2019 Bass Master Classic in Knoxville

My name if Bob Payne and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the 2019 Bass Master Classic in Knoxville Tennessee on March 15 thru the 17. I am in need of Camera Boats and Drivers. You will be compensated for your time. I have a need for boats on Wednesday, (5), Thursday (1), Friday (12), Saturday (12), and Sunday (11). Please contact me via email, rwpconsult@hotmail.com. You will need to be capable of traversing the entire fishable waters of Ft. Loudon and Tellico lakes. Depending on the media and press needs, you may put in at locations around the lake but that will be left up to your contact once we get you assigned. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I have been a camera boat driver for several Classics and FLW events. It is fun and you get a front row seat.

If any of you do it, try and take the guy out with the drone. 1st because it is usually a shorter day and you get to run around more 2nd because it is cool to watch him fly it and see the shots.

For minimum boat requirements, you will need to be able to traverse the tournament waters that start in Knoxville and can go as far as the upper waters of Tellico. In most cases, if they know they are going to be on the lower end, they will probably have you trailer down there and put in. I have had alot of questions on the compensation so I have reached out to B.A.S.S. to get that information and can send it to anyone who is interested and contacts me.

Can you request just covering a certain part of the lake, I know the upper end, far up into French Broad and Holston? I can cover some water very fast with my boat but the 250 XB sucks gas like no ones business for very long runs.

I was discussing with my bud from the Knoxvile area. It is a long ways from downtown Knoxville to the upper end of Tellico. We covered a lot of water last March at the Hartwell Classic.

The fuel bill for my Johnson 225 HO might bankrupt them. Plus they probably wouldnt appreciate the smoke trail I leave lol. I consider it like tracks on your GPS.

Lol my 225 vmax must be your long lost brother. I send smoke signals instead of texting on the water.

I'd be on this in a heartbeat if I wasn't gonna be on a fishing trip of my own. Sounds like a heck of a good time.
