Transducer recommendation

Snagged a 741xs for the bow, need a transducer. Only need it for ClearVu and traditional. GT20, GT21, Gt22, GT23...so many dang options.

What's the difference between mid and wide band chirp?

I'm torn between the GT21 and GT23M. Both are 500W ClearVu at 260/455 Khz, and both are 600W traditional, but one is 50/200 and the other is 80/160. But there's a $50 price difference. What gives? Is the GT23M worth the extra $50?

And does the Trolling Motor Mount work with either of those? There are no specs on Garmin's site as to which ducers it works with.

Think I'm going with the GT23M. Seems the best suited for my needs.
