Mercury 200 EFI, sporadic fuel delivery on bumps

Hi all,

I have a 1996 Merc 200 EFI, SerialOG361511. It's on a 1996 Charger 295TF with an 8" jack plate.

In the last 2 hours of my last tournament of the season, I had the following symptom when running. The water was mostly almost perfectly smooth, but at speed, any time the boat hit any wave, or if the boat chined, the motor seemed to lose fuel delivery. It was acting as if I was pulling off the throttle for a second with each bump. As soon as the boat settled the RPMs shot back up. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
