With all the trash talk about Kentucky lake and the upcoming conditions,
How many boats do you think will be in the first LBL BFL ?

It's at Paris, so over 100. There will be a lot of guys just trying to get the big check (Brent Anderson, Craig Hipsher, etc). Tournaments 2-5, a lot less. I won't be there, so the payout will be lower since I just donate anyway.

Think it will be dependent on weather conditions. If windy with high water I say 100 or less. If just high water, I will bet it gets close to to 150. But this is all a guess on my part. Lol

You think the new entry and atrocious payout will have any bearing on the turnout?? Seems like it has in other regions.

Dont have to worry about Brent being there. He’s guiding in Florida and won’t be back until late Spring.

That one is usually the biggest of the year in the LBL division and want fall off until maybe the third tournament.

I hope so. That's the reason I won't be fishing any BFL's this year. The poor fishing isn't helping either, but I bet the boat count for ABA will be up from last year.

Well that's not good. I guess that makes the odds of winning a little better.

I am going to guess 0 boats for next weekend. Latest TVA projection has lake cresting at 365.7 on Friday and current at 480,000 cfs. They should go ahead and reschedule in my opinion.

Agreed, any significant North wind blowing into that much current would get really ugly.

Rescheduled for June 16th, which is the day after the originally scheduled 4th BFL at Paris. Rescheduled to a Sunday and Father's Day on top of that......
