    Ahh, finite numbers.

    22 million is too much?

Gimme a number that makes you happy, then you take the poison first.

Your line of thinking is dangerous; human population is not to be "managed".

Do you support abortion rights or contraception?

FWIW, my statement on management was toward the wildlife.
While it’s necessary at times, it’s fully due to human encroachment.
The ecosystem was doing just fine prior to modern civilization.

I've spent 8 days at Wollostan lake way north of there. Bears wandering through the camp, moose everywhere and the wolves howling at night. Very cool.

You sure have a short memory.

Your statement claimed that humans were over populated, not wildlife.

When I was bow hunting Caribou in Alaska we were fortunate to see some Wolves. I watched them through my Steiner binoculars and forgot about the Caribou for awhile, magnificent animal. Mother Nature gave everyone of her beings a part in her play, the wolf does his very well.

We are overpopulating the planet, that’s very easy to see.
And, maybe, we are managed ... ever read up on NWO.

Politics aren’t permitted. Can’t comment on my voting.

The thread is about the wolf not about humans. Stay focused people.

Bullshit, but I'll indulge you for a moment.

    7 billion on this earth.

Give us the number at which TampaJim would consider the place not overpopulated, and a time frame to get there.

Then I can explain to you how you are subtly advocating (more) genocide.

Nice cop out on the voting question, BTW. I already know the answer, and your vain attempt to deflect from your own sanctimony isn't lost on anyone, it just points to more of it that you own.

I’m sure of it since they all existed for a long time prior to colonization.
Yes, they have to be managed. But only due to our overpopulation.
There ya go. This thread seems to be full of hunters pissed off that they have to compete with wolves for a kill.

don't know where you came up with that, but even so, hunters have done more to ensure the future of wildlife than any special interest group ever thought of.

Saw the documentary, no sure what that has to do with wolves though? Thought they were from Compton.

The Coywolf population is out of control around here, see them all the time on the golf course and several people I know who back onto brush have them almost in their backyard but they are still cool to see.

Real wolves would be an awesome sight, pretty cool!

Didn't even know that and wouldn't collect if I did. They could use a bounty on Coywolves though, although maybe not.... They'd have to pay out so much our taxes would go up again...

No doubt. My license and stamp money have paid for some too. That doesn't mean that I'm going to begrudge those wolves their lives so that it's easier for me to fill my tag.

Actually Alberta is the only province with bounties on wolves and coyotes, if I'm not mistaken.

However, my travels in Ontario, have shown that the First Nation people hunt them, and without season, along with most other game.

Fishing in border areas, you'd see and hear wolves on the Minnesota side, and deer only in close proximity to humans. On the Canadian side, no wolves, and deer seemingly were much more common.

I don’t think anyone would confuse you with a tag holder in a western state don’t worry.
