I tend to eat one thing at a time. My girlfriend appreciates this.

I’ll find myself eating all of one thing before starting the next - not intentionally - must just be how my brain works. If Si notice Im doing it, I’ll usually mix in a little of something else ....
Roast beef, mashed taters and gravy and corn are meant to be mixed. State Law!!
Separate, together, it doesn't matter - it all goes to the same place.
I only have two habits that may seem odd. If there is multiple items on my plate I always save a bite what I like the most for the last bite. This enures my last bite was the best item on my plate. Also if there is desert I prefer to eat my dessert before I eat the last bite of my favorite food from the main course. I like deserts and sweets but had not rather have a sweet taste left over, hence the reason I will save a small portion of my favorite part of the main course to eat after my desert is gone.
It may sound as if I am a picky eater but that is far from the truth. I have said this many times and it is true...you can't reach this size body mass by being a picky eater
One dish at a time.
I mix everything
A little of each along with mixing certain things. If we have bread or rolls I will dam near wipe the plate clean with the bread and enjoy it. No need for a separate plate or fork for dessert.
Our son eats one thing at a time.

When they were teaching us to be officers and gentlemen, I still remember the Capt saying "Mashed potatoes are not glue for peas."
vegetable's first meat last

I’m from Louisiana, I mixed it all up then eat it
I’ve always eaten one thing at a time. Drives most people around me crazy. I don’t usually start with any one thing in particular just whatever is closest to me on the plate. I usually eat my fries before my burger as well. And I don’t not eat my food if it touches but I generally at least attempt to keep it from touching. Not exactly how you would expect a fat guy to eat but that’s just how I’ve always done it.
One at a time. Meat first
Son in law does this. He is 29. Until meeting him 4 years ago, I had never heard of it.
My wife also eats one item at a time. Drives me crazy!

All at the same time, but brown beans, fried taters and cornbread get mixed together before I take a bite.
Same as your wife usually. I tend to like the meat the best, so I save it for last. lol
One item at a time,, unless its corn or peas that you have to chase, then I'll shove them in the mashed potatoes. Yes it is glue for pea's. Works quite well
