    prop repair expectations?

When you get a pop repaired and balanced will it come back like new or will you still be able to see where some of the scratches and chips were? I'm looking at repairing a prop that is dinged up from gravel and want to know what to expect from the repair. Thanks.

If you send it off to Mark it will look like new, or better than new (if the new is a Yamaha T2 like the one I got from Yamaha :) .

Send it to Mr. Croxton the prop wizard, it will be better than new both in appearance and performance.

Funny. I send mint to Mark every other year. Mine has a groove in where the Torqe Flow fits. When I get the prop back it looks brand new with out a scratch. I know it's mine because of the groove. He does Fantastic work.

I hit a floater on Guntersville years ago. Should have ran the repairs through insurance, but eat the costs myself. But I went to a prop place in Tampa and had them straighten my prop shaft and repair and blueprint my prop. I think that is what is was called. Their work was great. Now I went through a salvage yard in St. Pete to handle the disassembly, and reassemble. That place was a joke. It closed down not long after. But of course the people opened under another name.

I had one rebuilt and looked like new. You may need to adjust the jp once you get it on the boat.

Had mine done twice, once by Phil's Prop Shop in Redding, CA, and once by The Prop Shop in Mukilteo, WA. In both instances, the prop looked brand new when I got it back. Finding a shop that is experienced with bass boat props isn't all that easy. Some around here do nice work on crab boat props that weigh half a ton or more...you don't take your bass boat prop there!
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

I got into some small rocks and dinged my 25T-1. It had 1 or two significant gouges. I had it repaired and blue printed by Mark, came back looking like a brand new prop on the outside.
