It was 6* here this morning. We have quite a bit of snow with more coming tomorrow. If it’s like last year we will be fishing by the first week of May. The wife and I are getting along well though....she said hi yesterday.

No idea here. Not a single day forecast above 28 form now through March 4. 12" of snow expected this weekend. Last year we had to cancel tournaments due to lakes not having ice out yet in late April. I am expecting the same this year.

It wouldn't matter if the whole country was 75* & sunny by next Sunday, I doubt 75 % of the chronic complainers here even fish to begin with.

I just got back from a week down at Hot Springs Arkansas. It was cold down there too. Went to watch the horse races at Oaklawn Park. This is the coldest its been on Valentine Weekend in 5 years I think.

If it wasn’t for me living on a hilltop, I’d have the same. Yard still saturated. Ready for it to dry and warm up some.

It will be plenty warm enough for me to go on my next days off but the problem is how to fish 48* chocolate milk that's 15 ft up into the tree line. My navigation hazardous are while idling out. I need to to remember to trim the motor up going across the parking lot so I don't hit a guard rail or sign with the lower unit. Animals around here will line up two by two if you pull your boat out of the garage. Per 10 day outlook there is going to be several days with 50's and even low 60's but also another 4 or more inches of rain when we are already flooded.

True but somewhere short of that, they will be complaining about the heat.

If it was 75 and sunny here then I would be able to complain about the foot of snow melting and flooding everything and the 6" of water on top of 30" of ice so I couldn't even ice fish......lol

Last year I was fishing the week after ice out on April 22nd. Hoping with the mild winter I’ll be out mid April again
