We built in 2005 and used SW Superpaint semi gloss on the Knockdown finished dry wall and Emerald semigloss for the trim. Just finished doing some touch ups last week in two bed rooms with a can of left over Superpaint on the walls. Carried it back to the store to have it mixed good and still matches perfect. Seal the can good and store it where it wont freeze, will last for years.

SW is just so expensive and the don't post their paint prices in the store. Depending on who you are, they may have 3-4 different prices on the same paint.

I use Behr's middle line paint, and have had great coverage--like medium blue over dark brown in one coat. I really like the paint dept. manager at Home Depot too.

But Sherwin Williams has all kinds of paints for specialized usage other paint stores just don't have.

Make sure to ask about sales. We bought our paint on sale and saved a bundle. They usually run one in the spring.
