    Garmin trolling motor update?

So with all the talk about a new Lowrance TM, has anyone heard anything about a Garmin? A few months ago there were rumors but it's been awfully quiet lately.

Maybe we could be sneaky and ask LWinchester2 if he could provide a current picture of his custom Tmotor transducer mount and multiple transducers.

Strictly for sonar educational purposes .

I’m guessing the release date will be at the Classic! Garmin is really good at not leaking info!

With lowrance and power pole doing one it would be a surprise but who knows.

Does the new motor only come in white or is that an attempt at camouflage, like the car/truck manufacturers do when testing new models?

    I promise I won't tell a soul.

That sir, is a piece of 3" pvc pipe over the lower unit of my MinnKota Fortrex to make it a little longer so I could mount the UHD24 and UHD54 along with the LVS12 on there.

You should have painted it black. It would have really stirred up speculation.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

Being from the plumbing and heating industry, I recognized the pvc and fitting.

My poor attempt at humor was in questioning the possible subterfuge of the new product.

Ring fry, how do you like the lvs12? Is it worth getting with the 8610 or would a guy be better off with an echomap plus and the LVS32? Haven't used either but will probably pick one up this spring.

It really depends on your application. For me, I fish 99% of the time for bass is fairly shallow, off colored water so the 12 doesn't work as well as the 32 does. I've got a buddy that fishes clear water, deep lakes and the LVS12 works well for him. He fishes under the boat a lot and I don't. As far as the clarity I don't see any difference between the two, it's about field of view. They are both 20* side to side. The 32 is 135* up and down and the 12 is 30* X 2.
