    Installing GLS10 sonar module

    Hi Gang,
    I am installing my Live Scope up on the bow to a Echomap 93sv.
    Have just about everything done for now. My question is the little silver connector located on the GLS 10 left side.
    Where do run it to? I believe it is a ground and if so do I need to run it back to the battery.
    I have noticed a few pictures that guys don't have it hooked to anything.

    Most all my units and boxes have this extra ground. Never have hooked one up and never had a problem.
    My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

    I believe i read somewhere someone correct me if i am wrong if you have interference you can run a ground wire to it supposed to help
