Is that what speeds you are seeing? Loaded, empty, hero pass, etc? The 200t I owned for a few years wouldn't run close to those numbers. 225 Yamaha. Best mph it ever went was 63 w a 25 tempest, only turning 5500. Usually ran 60 w 2 people loaded w a 23M. Summer it was a 55mph ride w full wells, 2 people. Boat didnt have a plate, but it sure didnt like pitch as it set. Motor was solid, no issues.

Had a Yamaha pro v 150 it would turn 5500-5800 at 65-66 on my 170 than sent it to hydro and they did their magic and it would turn same prop to 6100 and 69-70 .That was cooler temps as it did not like heat .25 m with a lot of cup it was a blast out running some of the bigger boys but dang it was not meant for 3 foot wide gap waves

    Yamaha or mercury? What plate?

Really not sure why the 200 I had was so slow, but it was a dud, speed wise. No chance that mine would have turned a 26, unless a plate would have made a night/day difference.

Speedometer or GPS? Sounds like a nice rig regardless.
