A couple of friends have been married about 5-7 times EACH. The advise I got was to rathole money away to hold me over until the chit started flying. Closing all her access to credit cards and checking accounts would be essential. I've known a few guys whose wives ran up huge debt buying trivial crap, just being nuts.

Ok. Sometimes divorce is inevitable, but I would challenge you for 6 months to try to work it out. This is difficult for me to post but my wife and I hit a rough patch (very very rough patch). I didn't think anything but divorce was the answer. We both looked what each other "was doing wrong" in the relationship/marriage instead of what we are doing for each other. Once we both started to focus on each other instead of ourselves, it changed our marriage. Someone said get ready to move out of the house. That is horrible advice. Whatever you do, do not move out until there is an agreement signed. You will lose your azz if you move out. Plus you will have access to your kids in their own home until legalities are worked out and SIGNED. Dont do anything verbal

How's the sex life w her , has it turned to worse (no sex) ? If sex life is good , part as friends and keep the benefits until you both have found someone else that makes you happy and end it as friends being great parents to the kids .

Can’t speculate on the later but it seems that a female lawyer goes for the jugulars quicker as I can attest to having the misfortune of having both. Handy when you need one.
