    NMEA 2000

PNG image 6.pngHow to hook up NMEA to MercMonitor?
    MM has NMEA lead.
add Tee, add terminating resistor, add length of cable straight to TI2?
Its my understanding MM powers NMEA!
Do I need a ground or does the MM do it all?
Only the one unit on console & no other NMEA components are being used.

If its just the MM and the Ti2 you might be able to get by simple... I have not tried this but have read it works when there are only 2 N2K devices.
Substitute the Ti2 for the GPS puck in the diagram.

That is where I will get mine at when the time comes. The reason I asked Is I heard they may be getting rid of the eco screen and adding some other options at some time.

If you substitute the graph unit for the GPS puck, where will the MM get it’s GPS signal? It may be able to get it from the Graph’s internal antenna, but not sure. This would be a question for Don Weed.
I had an existing NMEA 2000 circuit when I installed the MM, but Don Weed recommended that I connect the negative wire in the MM harness to the negative on the existing N2K power supply to insure both circuits had a common ground.

    Here’s what I’ve done,hope it’s correct!
Used the N2K power node, wired straight to fuse block.
Power node connects to N2K tees, a few terminators, obviously to the MM lead, and to the TI2.

MercMonitor can obtain speed from almost any NMEA-2000 Graph that offers speed (a few exceptions, especially Humminbird).

Personally I would put the money into a nice graph that has it's own antenna (rather than buying a stand-alone antenna and hoping it communicates well).
