    Garmin echomap plus 73sv

Looking at one of these units for the front of the boat. Can I use the included transducer on the trolling motor or do I need to purchase a different one? Thanks

You can use the ducer that comes with the unit.....why would you question if it can be used on the TM???

The transducer does come with mounting hardware for both transom and trolling motor. It is bulky especially if you fish shallow timber filled lakes, I would consider a transducer shield. What kinda of trolling motor do you use? Mounting is possible on electric steer trolling motors but will take a little more effort.

I have a non-plus (see what I did there) 73sv mounted on my Edge TM -
works great for me, but, Crappielimits lake-type disclaimer rings true.
