Football jigs...what size line do you use?

Recently purchased a heavy action 7'4" rod for throwing football jigs in the 5/8 to 3/4 oz size. Usually use 15# seaguar for most everything but thinking maybe I should go to maybe 20#. What do you think? Thanx.

I like 15#. Seaguar's fifteen is very thin though, I think it's .013, they made it smaller.. A little too thin for me. Their 17# is a better choice in my opinion

    Unhappy

I'm impressed that you are able to get away with 15lb.
I tried 17lb and had to many break-offs
Went back to Abrazex 20lb and all is good. Haven't had a 3lber break me off yet...

When I first ordered the Smackdown™ it was so thin, I thought it was a thread from the FREE shirt You get when You bust a yard
