    203 Consoles

    Going to rebuild the floor in my 1999 203 as I have been nursing a few soft spots the last year or so. Going to skip carpet and use something else that wont hold water. I am also curious as to whether I could cut the consoles and turn them into the “floating” style that the newer boats got? Any ideas?

    It would be a lot of work being they are part of the top cap. The later "floating" consoles are attached down on the side and front. You can see the attach points below.
