    Unhappy Hearts were broken

    Our Coton that was 6 years old passed yesterday. He was excited when our son came over and had a massive heart attack. My wife is devastated. That was the smartest and best dog we ever had. He better be at Rainbow Bridge to meet us. I have had to put many down that were old and sick but this one was a shocker. The vet told us he had a slight heart murmer but so have some of our other dogs. We figured he would live to be 14 or so based on his breed.

    Thanks. Wife is depressed and it will take time. Love dogs but hate that they die before we do.

    Wife and I have 5 dogs, and oldest is 11, so I already know it will be hard x5. They are not dogs at our house. So I sympathize for You and your wife's loss.....
