    Billstein 5100 Shocks

Anyone installed them? Thinking of getting a set for the front and rear. Adjustable front to level my truck to 2" or close to it. Just wondering if anyone else has done this and their take on it. I plan on getting a full set both front and rear.

I installed a set of 5100's front & rear on my 2015 4runner Trail Edition 3yrs. ago. The fronts are on the 1.75 setting, and I added a 1" spacer on the rear in addition to the 5100's. Looks, rides, & tows great with no problems. Night & day improvement over the stock ride.

I installed them in my last truck. I replaced the GMC NHT shocks front and rear. They worked well towing and also did well with the plow I had installed. I'd recommend them for a short money upgrade

What truck do you have? On the F150 forums a lot of guys have been really happy with the 5100s but if you aren’t in need of new shocks/struts many places offer a 2” lift that will level out the front of your truck for less than $150. It’s a simple spacer that goes in between the top of the strut and the upper mount. This totally depends on year/make/model though.

I had them on my F 150 &now on my new 2017 tundra in the middle position. Leveled out the truck and has such a better ride than stock with real dampening. I took the stocks off 500 miles in so they were new and just side by side huge difference in rebound and compression dampening. Ride is awesome and solid can't go wrong with them.

Had Bilsteins on my F250 setup for towing. Expensive, and didn't last longer than regular brand shocks.

I now go to RockAuto.com to buy my name brand shocks for 1/3 the price of Bilsteins. Shocks are so cheap at Rock Auto you can change'em every 30K miles or so. They're so easy to replace too.

I’ve had 5100’S on my last 2 trucks. Huge improvement in ride and they have a lifetime warranty.

I had em on my 08 Titan, the fronts lasted 100K miles. The rears are still good at 120k. I had the fronts on stock height setting.

I lifted this 2017 Platinum F150 with a Superlift 6 inch kit that came with the Billstien 5100 shocks. I've been pleased with their performance and ride.
