    Pot holes

I thought St. Louis area roads had a lot of pot holes until we got to Indianapolis. Here for the weekend to visit our son at Butler. Wow, the craters that impede motorist here is crazy. It’s like the video game mariocart driving trying to avoid them.

Ohio and Pennsylvania are just as bad this time of year.

Yep here in some parts of Indy they have police escorts out in front of the traffic slowing them down to about 40mph on interstate trying to avoid potholes.

The small town I live in puts a lot of work in patching holes and sealing with tar before winter gets here. We get some but not too bad. When leaving town as soon as you get to where the state and county maintenance takes over the pot holes begin. The city of Omaha can be impossible to drive thru without hitting some that are more then a foot deep.

Come to Michigan especially west Michigan the potholes here swallow cars! I’m pretty sure that’s what happened to Jimmy Hoffa, it wasn’t the mob it was simply a pothole.

When I lived in Iowa there was roads that would knock the fillings out of your teeth.

The cut outs in the road for the reflectors are the breeding grounds for potholes here.

Florida is ripe with them too. We have too many people, too little maintenance.
$2,800 last year, I’m pretty sure it was in February. Ripped apart my SUV.
Imagine the pothole needed to chew up the undercarriage and break things.
There’s not a chance I’ll own a passenger car here, must have good clearance.

And the people (the govt) who are responsible for fixing them don't have to pay for any of that damage, so they simply do not care....................

Got to agree with you on this,, I just thought that Louisiana was bad till I spent some time in Ok,,,When the state puts up signs that says " Drive At Your Own Risk" you are in trouble ,,,,, one of my co-workers hit one just outside of McAlester that almost tore the front axle out of his truck,, almost totaled it,, but now that was several years ago,,, hopefully they are better now

hwy 69 from the texas border to big cabin is the pothole king. you need a front end alignment every 20 miles or so...
