    Cull tags

I'm needing to order new cull tags and was wondering what guys are using that don't put a hole in the mouth?

I would go with the TH Marine G-Force.

I like the Cal Coast v2.0. If you have tags that you like you can buy just the clips and retro fit them.

I bought the G-Force but am totally disappointed. I cannot hold a fish with one hand and close the clip with the other, it is too hard to close. You need three hands. I tried to return them but was unable to do so because I waited past the 90 day limit.
I am thinking of buying the Cal-Coast clips to replace the ones on the G-Force floats.

I’ve the watched the pros struggle big time the TH Marine ones. Even saw Van Dam get frustrated with them and throw it in the boat and just not clip a fish. Looks like a monkey f**king a a football watching guys trying to put those on. Lol.

After reading a lot of reviews I just ordered the Cal Coast (you have to order the beam separately). I also liked that the floats have colors and numbers.

Have a good one and thank God for it!

I'm on my second set of the G-Force tags. As others have said they are hard to get on and off but I've also broken two of the clips. First set I finally got TH Marine to replace them and then broke another clip. Last time for G-Force for me.

I have 2 sets of the G-Force; the original puncture style, and the conservatives. I can't stand the conservatives. As everyone says, to hard to operate. Bought the Cal Coast and they are much easier and so far have done very well. I like the numbers on the floats also.

I went with the Ardent Smart Clips as you can utilize your current cull tags with the clips. I researched the others and decided to go with Ardent. To date...holds fish extremely well and one hand operation...just my $.02

I bought the Cal coast 2.0 tags. Very frustrating for me. (Donating them for a club raffle) I replaced them with the Ardent tags and non puncture clips. They do seem much easier to use.

I've had good luck with these as well. Had a fish break one, but Ardent replaced it.
