Trouble Updating Software on New echomap plus 93sv

I'm trying to update the software on my new 93sv. It appears that I have got it copied onto the SD but when I put into the unit it doesn't do anything. Nothing comes up with the option to update the software.

Files have been unpacked on to the he sd card. I was trying to use active captain but I can't get my phone to connect. I saw you need to update software to connect phone.

Did the file trigger the Garmin Wizard to download to the sd card?

You have to format the sd card with the garmin unit so it makes a Garmin file then load the update on sd card and turn garmin unit on and insert sd card and it should load.

I had same problem when trying to update with SD card. I finally used Active Captain and it did great. Updated thru my Home Network to app then went to boat and the 93sv saw update on AC and it updated to unit.

AC here, just followed the procedure in the user manual. No problems whatsoever.

Sounds like something got corrupted or maybe a card problem.

Try a new card and download again.

Just did the update to a couple of Plus units with a new sd card and it worked fine, updating the units,the Livescope, a Ps30 and a PS21.

Also activated the Active Captain.
Will admit the bluetooth wifi sync. to the unit/phone took me a few trial and errors, but then again I am not the sharpest pencil in the box with new tech.

I have. It finds the device and says it's pairing and just goes on and on

I did the software update using Express.

Did you get the wifi connected with inserting the assigned ID code number?

Seem to remember having to get the wifi connected first before I could pair the bluetooth for the first time.

I have two cards. I have no idea what is going. I normally have no problem with this kind of stuff.

Ok....have you reformat cards with your PC and try again???
