    California weather.

Rain rain rain. 5 of 9 la Quinta courses closed yesterday. Cart path only at PGA west yesterday. Watched a chocolate river washing through town from the mountains. Weather was warm enough for shorts and it felt good to have the sun on my back. Hurricane like winds last night. Round 2 today. Looks like a beauty day today. Maybe my golf will get better today!

Our course was closed yesterday and today to carts. I walked today but it was more like mud sliding.

Played yesterday after all the rain. Had a tee time at Gaylord Springs on the cumberland river... half the course was under 4' of water. We ended up playing the municipal course, up the hill from it, instead. Pretty soggy, and no range to warm up on. Had a pretty good round going (for me) at the turn, stumbled a little and ended up shooting 98. One positive, I played the 4 par 3's at 1 over. Only played 7 rounds since I started playing after a 12 yr break, so I'll take it as an improvement.
