    N.E. Texas Fishing Report

I live just south of Lake Fork and you cannot count the number of boats coming past my place going North. I am guessing most are headed for Fork. It is good to see.

I have made it to a few lakes this past week. It was WINDY !!!! But the fish were still there waiting. Air temps have went from the 30's to the 80's, and now we are back in the 30's this morning. Water temps have still been from the upper 40's to the lower 50's. Water clarity has varied from really cloudy (see about 3 inches) to clear. We have continued to get heavy constant rain. 3 days ago we got another 2.5 ".

I went out when there were lake wind advisories on a small local lake where I knew I could hide from the wind. The fish have been very shallow, and they quit eating the big white spinner bait. They have now decided to eat top water frogs. I have caught a few on T-rigged lizards, and jigs but the best has been the top water hollow bodied frog.

The link below gives you an idea of what has been happening.
