    Garmin Navionics?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this but is the Garmin 93sv compatible with the Navionics map for the West Coast or does the LakeVu have the West coast loaded on the unit?

I moved your post as you had it in the wrong place.

Be more specific on which 93 unit you have.

Thanks, it's the Garmin echoMap Plus 93sv with Lake Vu. The same one that was in the BPS flyer.

No Navionics cards will work on a Garmin unit, however, Garmin is incorporating Navionics maps into their LakeVu mapping. I’m not 100% sure when/if you can get an update to include the added Navionics mapping.

The lakevu maps included on the unit has california lakes preloaded. Many of them with 1 foot contours.

Click the link and put california in the location box - it will give you the full list of lakes and state which ones have the 1 ft contour.

It does not have the delta mapped good. You need the other blue chart chip for that.

I wonder why? Since Garmin did purchase Navionics in Oct. of 2017. I would imagine they had 2 or so years to figure out any bugs for that system to work. Thanks for
    the replies!

I just checked the link above and it has most of the lakes we fish on a regular basis.
    Thanks!

So was there a new map update that would make the 93 SV any better?
2005 Crestliner Serenity 1700 with a 2015 Mercury 115 4-Stroke. Battery Cutoff, MK, onboard wash off hose, HB, and whatever else I'm forgetting.

: 150 Merc XR6 with a 23 Tempest Prop, Dual Garmin 93SVs, 24V MK Maxxum, 3 Bank MK, and whatever else I'm forgetting.
