    Merc Tempest Plus prop shopping - what's "A45" vs "A47" indicate?

    I've seen some used props for sale where the seller indicates the prop is an "A45" or an "A47" version. What's this signify? Thanks

    Its a series number that indicates age, blade thickness, hub etc.....

    The A45 does not have PVS plugs and also has thinner blades also not referred to as a Tempest plus. The A41 was before that one and has a pressed in HUB. All A46 and up are the Tempest plus props
