Why do people bash Nitros

Since Ott is a Nitro guy I have to assume he was fishing out of one when he won the BassMaster classic. How is that possible?

Reason for Pros running Z21 vs Z20 is the Z21 does not have the new NVT hull & until its proven they stick with the Z21. Clunn uses the Z20 with dual console and NVT hull. The 2020 Z21 proto is in works for it to have the NVT in 2020.

The NVT hull has been tried and not found to work on the larger boat. That is why the Z20 has had changes in design every year since it came out. Nitro never talks about the changes and performance difference from year to year of the Z20. One year they all came with wedges on the transom because of porpoise problems. The 2019 has a lot of changes in the top half design. The first year the Z20 was made has been the fastest model Z20. Don’t think you will ever see the NVT on a Z21 without a lot of changes in the rest of the boat and I don’t think KVD will let that happen. The Z20 is and has been the test boat. KVD got a Z19 for his sons because it runs and handles great and has since day 1.
