    New 400 Verado

What are the differences between this "new" motor and the 400R other than lower unit availability and warranty?

Essentially a Standard Production (and Warranty) version, that comes with the 5.44" Gearcase (Standard).

Max RPM brought down to 6800 RPM from 7000 on the 400R. Calibration designed to provide more power throughout the RPM range with 89 octane use. No SportMaster lower or rear tie bar plate (sport cat application) available on the standard 400. Four color choices available instead of two.

Personally, I would see the 89 Octane and Standard Warranty as the biggest selling points.

Should be a little easier to get than the V8 models.

    Howdy,

Are there any boats that BBC users prefer that are even rated for a 400?

    Take care,

    Howdy,

Out of sincere curiosity which musky walleye boat? As a muskie guy I would like to know what's rated above 350 at this time.

    Take care,

    Ruddiger

My blazer bass boat 625 would allow for one as unlimited. Allison's and others could (do) handle 400hp also.
Where are the BIG ones? When are we going?
LOOKING for a Great deal on a Slightly used 20-21' Boat.
