Need help picking a new braided line

I loved the way Nanofil worked on spinning reels except for one thing. In the wind if you were working a bait and got slack in the line, it had a tendency to wrap around the rod tip. I had a fish bite when it was wrapped once before I could unwrap it and it snapped the tip off a nice Loomis rod.

Why change? The best and smoothest I have ever used is Power Pro Slick 8. If there is a smoother line I'd love to know because i haven't found it. Everything else feels like rope compared to slick 8. I'm interested in hearing others thoughts

I felt the same way until I used Daiwa j braid grand. It's all I use now.

power pro casting and fireline spinning. I tend to run 10lb and below on my fireline. Even the 6lb is over 12lb rating.

Not to hijack this thread but has anyone given the godline braid a try?
