    Fixed ox66 smoking heavily

Well for the last 2 years or so my 200 0x66 has been smoking heavily on any startup whether it was cold, hot or after fishing for a while. Always kept up on fuel pumps, plugs, recently had injectors cleaned, new fuel lines, filters, oil pump rod sleeve etc. Always run Amsoil. Bought the cheap NGK o2 sensor that everyone talks about and sure as shit it fixed my smoking issue. I barely get any smoke now and the low speed/idle is so much smoother.

Yep. I buy a couple at a time and just swap them out as maintenance every year. Cheap fix for smooth idle and performance. I soldered in the engine side plug from the GM O2 sensor harness, so now it’s just plug and play with new sensor.

Russ, is the Gm O2 sensor from a particular vehicle, make or year?
I'm going to the junk yard this weekend and look for some.

It’s a black, grey and two whites. Not hard to match up.

This was an awesome tip. Picked up one of the NTK sensors. Was trying to find a matching female plug and found that the Bosch 13027 has the female plug. Took the female plug off of that and wired it to the Yamaha plugs. Now I have any easy quick disconnect setup to match the NTK sensor.
