That's the first step, admitting there is a problem! I have to much as well.

i organized and cleaned out the tackle this summer - would throw the boxes i thought we needed in before the tournament - first tournament out my son says "where's the okochobee craws?" - they were on the shelf in the garage - so the boat got loaded back up after that. so many plastics it takes you half the day to find what you are looking for.

    guilty as charged.

No one can be wrong that often so it has to be deliberate.

I scaled my tackle down to almost nothing in my boat and also my tourney bag I use in other peoples boat, I carry a small Cabela's bag with 5 3600 plano boxes and a couple of pockets with tackle including pliers and scent and so on and my boat has a couple more boxes that contain tackle and plastics and that's it ,Discipline is the word never at a lost for anything in a tourney and my cellar is another story...lol

It’s a continuous battle keeping everything organized and not going to pot. Thankfully it’s a labor of love

It is a battle, I have tubs of plastics I take with me when i go for multiple days and Tournaments. My boat was very organized in December , several tournaments into this year and its a mess.

Have a ton of gear in my boat and some will never see water. However, most of my lakes I have tourneys on are no wake so I like having all that gear
