If it's a fishing application, go with the ProXS version.

From what i’ve read and seen it is pretty much the same motor except the new XS has a little lower gear ratio.
OP asked about a 150hp engine.

Yes it will be used in a fishing application, on a 19 ft aluminum bass boat. I knew about the higher rpm limits but did not know about stiffer motor mounts and low water pickup
I repowered a 19 ft war eagle with a 150 4s before the pro was released. Between the extra RPM and lower gear ratio I think it makes a 2-3 MPH difference. I would have gone with the pro if it wasn’t for the wait.
