    met vs met

I have a shimano met 13 and consider it to be one of the finest reels out there. I don't have a met mgl and wondered if they are better ? Used the mgl seems to sell for a lot more money and curious is it that much different.

Oh yes, much different. That said, it doesn't mean a 13 is bad, MGL is a more refined version. Dan

I have not use the 13 Metaniums but I do love my Shimano Metanium MGL's. Really thinking about selling my Daiwa Steez A to pick up another Metanium MGL.

Haven't fished the 13's but have fished the MGL. Buddy of mine sent one with me on a week long fishing trip and told me to use it and I haven't looked back. Hands down my favorite reel I've ever used. Since then I've sold basically everything else and replaced them with MGL's. Just be careful... I couldn't stop at one lol.
