Slight miss 5 mph top end loss 2015 225 Pro xs

Today my motor felt like it had a slight miss once I reached about 4500 rpm. It is not bad but, I can tell something isn’t right. Motor has new plugs and fuel filter. Feels like it has all the hole shot but the top end dropped 5-6 mph between fishing spots. One other thing I noticed is I can hold the throttle and keep it at exact gallons per hour below 13.5 gph and it doesn’t vary But once I get above 14gph/4500 rpm, which when I can feel the miss most, I cannot keep the gph steady. It’s goes up and down randomly about a gallon. I’m pretty sure I was able to keep it steady before this.

    208 hrs

could I have a bad new filter?
plugs seem unlikely because it’s perfect while idling and up to that 4500 mark
One of the fuel pumps maybe?

Or I’m an idiot... loose spark plug. Tightened it up and it’s all good
