Dual 12" HDS Lives on a Custom Made Precision Sonar Mount

Hey guys!...just wanted to share my video of a custom (made from scratch) mount that Precision Sonar made for me for my Dual 12" HDS Lives I'm running at my console...I had a 12" Live flush mounted, and when I decided to upgrade to a dual set up at console to go with my 12" Live at bow (3 total), I found myself in a predicament because of the size of the hole from the flush mount...the Lives are bigger than any other Lowrance units, so there was no mount on the market that would cover the hole...Austin and the team from Precision Sonar did a phenomenal job on this mount, so much so, I had to make a video for my youtube channel...check out what they were able to do, I'm still almost in disbelief of how well they matched my console and how sturdy this mount actually came out...let me know what ya think!

I run a dual Precision Sonar.....they are awesome to work with! I asked him to make me something that would turn the units in a bit on an angle.
He is working on it, hopefully he gets something done soon.

if anyone can figure it out, it’s Precision Sonar!...I’m still in awe at how well this mount fits my dash, it def wasn’t an easy task, that’s for sure!...good luck with yours, make sure ya post some pics when it’s done!

How much does it block your view when going across the water? It seems you may lose a lot of your view off to the left and right for oncoming boats or just objects at the water line on the water. Is the view straight ahead good or is it cutoff some?

honestly I don’t lose much of my view at all, but I’m just about 6’...someone who’s shorter may lose a little vision, but doesn’t effect me much at all, I can see right over the top!...Precision Sonar mounts are made so they’re not that much higher than windshield...good question though!
