The champion ride was nice on the old narrow beams, but you did get wet, they were bow high fishing and tippy. There is a reason they don't make that hull anymore.

I'd say many of the newer boats have very good rides. And yes I would include a Ranger in that group.

A lot depends on the size. Been in a couple of Champions over years. An 18’ and a 20’. They did ride exceptionally well in rougher water, but it’s all about driver skill regardless of brand. All I know long term is BassCat. Dry ride if you know how to drive them, and very stable fishing platforms. Fast and stable.

I was wondering if this was gonna be mentioned with the lusting after the old champs..

I don't like the legend on a windy day because you better have your rainsuit on....those of you that know understand what I'm talking about...be a beautiful day outside..wind blowing 20...youll be soaked..

Trying to think of a boat that you don't get went idling around with a 20 mph cross wind... oh wait a 36 ft center console. Although on a recent trip in the gulf we got pretty wet in one of those too.

The Alphas were wet because of the narrow front but they sure did ride good.

Ranger 520 is hard to beat all around. Top to bottom my opinion.

I might be off by a year, but yeah the early ones did. I don't think I'd ever buy a Triton but ride and fishability was great. Delimitation..... just details.

Allison would probably be the tops just due to the innovation that's come from those hulls. I bet phoenix ends up in the tops in the future.

My Old Ranger 521VX best ride and fishing combo I have been in. 68 loaded down with 4blade Trophy+ and 8" Bobs Jackplate and 250ProXS. 73 just me and light gear. Better ride and handling than any of the newer rangers and everything but the charger 210 Elites I looked at last year.

whichever one has the coolest sticker

all jokes aside--I work with a lady who is a bass fisher--she doesn't ever mention about taking her and her hubby taking the boat out--they always say''We took our SKeeter out"--she got all the cool stickers
One trime she asked my how fast our boat (2013 Xpress Bay) I said ohh bout 38mph, she said Ohh thats crap, our SKEETER goes 72--i responded but ours can go 38 in 2 feet of water (inshore) she walked away mad--aint spoke to me since--im heartbroken
