    Cranking battery??

    I’m in the market for new battery’s this year I already bought 2 Duracell’s but I was wondering what everyone would suggest for a cranking battery. Thanks in advance for the advice

    Take a look at the Deka Marine Master 27M6, or Napa equivalent.

    What motor and what are it’s requirements? Stator or alternator?

    You will be happy with the NAPA battery. It is not only a beast but leaves you heavier in the wallet area at the same time and who doesn't like that?

    remember if you have a built inbattery charger, some won't work on AGM batteries.

    Yes sir. And with some motors, an AGM is not recommended. The OP never told us what motor he has, its cca requirements, or what charger. All should be considered when choosing a battery.

    Duracell 31 series AGM from Sams Club is what I run. I have run it for 2 years and not even a hiccup!

    My Yamaha dealer/mechanic just replaced my Deka with an Interstate that has 1000 cranking amps. He claims that is the important spec.
