Previous owner ran in a lot of salt water so my deck where my compartments close and latch have the paint peeling. It looks like aluminum corroded just enough to break the paint bond. Have any of you spot primed and painted these areas and if so, what color is that on a "white" 2000 zx 202 c ?

I have a 2015 ZX 250 that is worse then yours under the lids. Only mine is the black deck so its even more obvious. Looks like hell when I open up the lids...good luck
I wonder why skeeter doesn’t address this issue. I’ve been in three skeeters and there all less than two years old with the paint bubbling up and bursting. It looks like crap when it happens.
I’m in the process of replacing my split live wells, I think I might strip the back deck and take it and get it powder coated. I know I won’t see it that much but when I open the lids I can smile. Knowing that I’m not looking at that dull grey black water spotted paint .... if it turns out good I’ll do the front next.
