    Question Back Gunnel Insignias

I purchased a previously wrapped Cougar and recently obtained the large stickers for outside port and starboard that were given to previous owner unattached because of wrap. I'm sure these are typically applied at factory. I have basic measuring and centering skills but noticed the area is curved differently as you move further forward or backward.
I googled some images of Cougar sticker placement and saw everything from centered to where the C was right up close to forward edge of placement area. Any subtle tips before placing? And is there any air temperature minimum required for application?

The Reason it's not centered is you are missing the FTD sticker.

Ok. I haven't placed mine yet.
I know what you're saying because the one with FTD was the one on edge. I'm not going to add that sticker.

Clean area with Windex first. Don't apply with temps below 60 degrees. Otherwise when the temps warm up its will loosen up.

If your not applying the FTD sticker, at least scotch tape it in place to help center the larger decal.

The best source of information is the Owners Board.

Center the Cougar And FTD decals, then start the T and Fish on Bass Cat at the edge of the radius just behind the straight flat about 1”.

yes on primer 94 and clean with 90% isopropyl rubbing alcohol also.

Just ordered a multi-pack of 3m primer 94. And will wait until it warms up some since my garage temp is in the 30s. Sounds like 60 or higher may be more ideal.
