Thumbs Up MLF on Okla Lakes

It was pretty cool seeing the MLF pros on Murray, Texoma, and the championship on my favorite lake, Arbuckle. So many spots that I could remember catching a nice one on...many more spots that I never caught anything on and those guys did!

I just hope that my little 3500 acre lake isn't wall to wall bass boats with out of state stickers now, it gets enough pressure as it is.
    Don't worry Ma'am....

I'm thinking about trying to get my club to schedule a TX on Arbuckle.

I like arbuckle, but I don’t believe it’s the best lake in Oklahoma.

I agree. I love fishing there winter, spring, and fall. Stay away on summer weekends...however the biggest fish all year was caught on a brutally hot August Saturday with tubers, pontooners, and skiers running criss-crosses across the lake. I like it because it's easy for me to fish by myself...even if it's windy the lake doesn't get so bad that you can't get around, and three or four of the biggest fish I've caught have come from there. It's not an easy lake to fish during many times of the year. I had nothing but dinks until I hooked up with that one 8 pounder. I know that I could probably go to Eufaula, Sardis, Broken Bow or Texoma and catch more fish but I'm sure that there's a 12 lb'er looking at my jig at Arbuckle on every cast.

I think it would be hard to have a tournament on Grand for them because the cell signal is so spotty.

Let me rephrase. 4G data signal is really spotty. Even 3G can be hard to get in certain areas.

That is so frustrating. I have a place at Eufaula and I get NO SERVICE with ATT. Pisses me off to no end.

I didn’t know they fished Hudson. I should pay better attention.
There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.

It was 3 or 4 years ago, if I'm not mistaken it was the first year they done the selects.
