USA What is a good 2-3/4" shotgun load for coyotes?

Looking for something that will kill coyotes at around 50yds. Shot size for 2-3/4" 12ga.?

I think 50yds is a long way for a 2-3/4" shell unless you find a round/choke combo that is really good. I use a rule of thumb of 7 pellets in a 30" circle for coyote range and you're only going to have about 9 pellets to start with in 2-3/4" 00. I use Remington HEVI-Shot 00 in 3". My gun just likes them and I can get 9 or 10 pellets in the circle out close to 75yds.

My experience has been that guns can be pretty finicky about big pellets at long range with some shooting tight and some spraying everywhere.

I'd start with the 2-3/4" HEVI-shot and see how it shoots for you.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
    nothing else matters.

I forgot what brand it was, maybe hevi shot, it was called dead coyote, " T " shaped pellets, in 2 3/4 or 3 I believe. Its been a while.
