    Aluminum Tread on fendeer

    I have a stratos boat trailer and am replacing the fenders. There is Aluminum Tread Plate on top of the fenders. I removed it and it was put on with some kind of double sided tape. It was so strong I almost bent the plate taking it off. Anyone know what kind of a tape they used. It is a 2001 tandem axle trailer. Has been on for a long time so it was good tape.

    Any 3M tape will work that is used to install moldings on cars and trucks.
