    hook 7 or elite 7

    Do any of you know if either will fit in tray and allow for troller to be stowed without hitting it? I think it will fit across width but worried about vertical height.. Thanks

    Elite 7 Fits on my 2003 2100 with the trolling motor up. The unit has to almost lay flat.

    ive got a HDS live 9 mounted in my troll well of my sterling...
    and a HELIX 9 mounted in my 2100...

    did you have to cut it out bigger??? The 2200 is the same size as 2100 troller cutout, right?

    i do apologize...
    the 2100 has a HELIX 7....
    went to get a pic and realized that....

    HOWEVER...
    you can take and but the uprights off of the factory GIMBAL mount, and attach them to the sides of the troll well and get the 9 in there...
    thats what i've done on my Sterling...

    I cut and reshaped a metal mount to get a HDS7 low enough to clear the trolling motor folded up on my Intimidator. I've see others add a piece of starboard under the trolling motor to get the clearance.
