Fishing Lake Norman February 21st - 23rd for the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series. So I'm just looking for a few pointers and where the fish may or may not be. Should I b flipping docks? Are the fish on beds? What should I be looking for? Best lures to throw, and colors. Any good spots that I should try or bad spots I should avoid.
I had some luck fishing 8-15' docks with a square bill brown /green.
I'm just learning Norman so others sure may know better. Mostly Spots. Near 3 - 3.5 lbs

Some really big houses, bigger than any others. But you're right it looks so busy on maps. More than it does on my sonar gps.

A lot of tournaments coming up on Norman; information gathering may not be very good. The water is lightly stained with the water temperature around 49- 51 deg. and a lot more rain headed this way over the next week. Some good ones are being caught. Look at square bills, jerkbaits, always a shaky head for a few things that may work. Plenty of docks. Just have to find the right ones.
