I found an R81 close to you, over by Greenville. Going to look at it Saturday.
The guy that bought my boat was a mechanic. He was going to rebuild the motor and let the local H.S. fishing team use it. When I found that out, I went ahead and gave him some of the spare parts I had sitting around, including the 1991 encoder.
I have a set of carbs and throttle bodies sitting here as well as a few carb repair kits and bowls. I've also got a set of #30 jets and 72D high speed jets. There's also a brand new VRO replacement pump here somewhere. It's the stacked pulse pump "premix" type. If you're interested in any of that, shoot me a PM. I'm going to list it all on the boat parts for sale here before too long.

If you felt like stopping by Palmetto Boat Center (where I work) saturday Id take the carb rebuild kits off your hands. I already have spare carbs, vro, and other stuff at the house though.

It's a 2001 with a Merc 175 EFI. We'll be in Greer to look at the boat. If we have time, I'll swing over that way. Maybe I could get the guy to bring the boat to you for a checkout on the motor? I'd pay you for it.

Those merc EFI's are great engines too. My dad ran one for a bunch of years, my neighbor bought it and loves it, still running strong.
